Okay, Okay....this is just  a first sneak peek so I am going to  reserve a real comment on this until i  see more pix. I DO  agree with  my fellow Fanboy  colleague and crime-fighter The BATMARINO in saying that yes, the design of this super suit  IS a lot more menacing and makes Supes look like more  of a bad@$$.

Catwoman is a fictional character associated with DC Comics' Batman franchise. Historically a supervillain, the character was created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, partially inspired by Kane's cousin, Ruth Steel. Kane, a frequent movie goer, also mentioned that Jean Harlow was a model for the design. Since the 1990s, Catwoman has been featured in an eponymous series that cast her as an antihero rather than a supervillain. The character has been one of Batman's most enduring love interests. Many modern writers have also interpreted her activities and costumed identity as a response to a history of abuse. Batman #62 (December/January 1950) revealed that Catwoman is an amnesiac flight attendant who had turned to crime after suffering a prior blow to the head during a plane crash she survived. Catwoman's origin—and, to an extent, her character—was revised in 1986 when writer Frank Miller and artist David Mazzucchelli published Batman: Year One, a revision of Batman's origin. She works as a prostitute in order to survive and wants to break away from her abusive pimp (and former boyfriend).
Warner Bros. has released the first promo image of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, the next installment in the Batman franchise.
The 28-year-old actress joins veterans Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine in the Christopher Nolan-direction action flick.
"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story," Nolan said in January.

Though Hathaway hasn't revealed much about her role ("I signed a blood oath," she says), the actress is looking forward to portraying the iconic D.C. Comics character.
"I want to be the best actress I can be and that means working with the best people and taking the most challenging roles," Hathaway tells Total Film. "That's the plan and so far it's led to some really exciting places."
Catwoman was first played by actress Julie Newmar (now 77) in the 1966 Batman TV series; Eartha Kitt took over the role in the show's third season. The feline vixen was last played by Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992's Batman Returns. (Halle Berry starred in the 2004 flop Catwoman; the heroine's alter-ego was renamed Patience Phillips.)

Arriving in theaters July 20, 2012, The Dark Knight Rises also features three new characters: John Blake (played by Joseph Gordon Levitt), Miranda Tate (played by Marion Cotillard) and Bane (played by Tom Hardy).

Okay, we all  know that  Nolan likes to go for a little more realism and a lot  less campy (no kitty  ears....yet) and I can dig that!
I  also  love the fact that  they  are giving Catwoman the more realistic origin instead of Michelle Pfifer's origin in Batman Returns.
Ooooh, let's see, i get  pushed out a window, land on an awning, some cats lick me on the face, and SHAZAM! I am Catwoman! I dig the costume as it was for this movie tho.

And DON'T EVEN get  me started on Halle Berry's Catwoman........sad really.

Yes, i  know the TV show was campy, but  ya  gotta give props to the three Original Catwomen: Julie Newmar, Lee Meriweather and Eartha Kitt. RAWR!
